Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This Saturday June 17th Acii Disco is proud to present Dublin based Electro/House night DANCING UNDER THE INFLUENCE (D.U.I) to the club. DJs and club night creators Danny Metajer and Terry Lyons will be taking over The Hub for another quality night of House, Electro, Acid and Tech House toones. Dancing Under the Influence or D.U.I as it is more commonly known started in May of last year in the Project Arts Centre, Temple Bar.

Since then they have put on a series of monthly high energy, attitude free, anything goes parties promoting their very upfront hi energy electro house sound. These parties have always been more than buzzing and have played host to some of Dublins finest DJs, Producers, Live Acts and Visual artists. Names such as: Hystereo, H3lx, Brian Cairns, The Deadbots, Chez Jacques, Mike McCoy, Rob Hatchell, Jonathan Woods, Dave Salacious, Neil Proudfoot, Conor Ryan and Skinny
Boy have all played a part in making D.U.I the success story it is to date.

Not only have the lads hosted their own successful club night in the Arts Centre, they have also held a weekly residency in Mischief, and have DJ’d for other top clubnights such as Bodytonic, Clampdown, Compression, and Viva music in Limerick.
Expect them to play across the board dance floor friendly House and Electro. There philosophy is to play quality music that gets the crowd buzzing and avoid anything that’s “up its own arse” Chin strokers and train spotters need not apply! You have been warned!

To win a double pass to see the D.U.I DJs simply answer this question –

What Dublin venue did D.U.I nights start in?

Mail answers to acdisco@gmail.com We got ten in total to give away so good luck!

Also huge thanks to live act Sourcecode (Gav & Russell) for last week, they played a really great set and had the place going right off from start to finish with uber cool visuals to boot. Also big shout to the crew they brought down to make up a very posh Acii Disco DVD , really looking forward to seeing the finished product and will be giving away a few copies in next weeks competition! Watch this space for details.
