Found it truly hilarious when I saw them including Dolph 3rd on their list of greatest pops - just in the way that they couldn't have buried him harder over the past few months.

But he wasn't put in a position for people to care about him. it goes both ways. The concussion didn't help. The fact he didn't exactly have a big chase for a belt a dastardly heel took from him was a bigger non helper.

When has he gotten a reaction anywhere close to that one time deal? He hasnt. Every MITB cash in gets a big pop, regardless of who it is. Edge was a hated prick heel when he cashed in and still got a pop.

I like watching Dolph but I just don't see main event potential in him. As a face he is not that likable, unlike guys like Cena, Punk, Bryan who all have traits that make them marketable.

And as a heel, his moveset is quite face orientated, so that is another avenue blocked as well.

And he is a very average talker, Vickie and AJ tried, but he does not have enough upside to main event on a regular basis sadly.
