    Hi guys

    I see on some websites now (sorry dont have any at hand) that there is a google drop down tool bar that translates the entire page into various languages. i want to use this in my site. Can anyone help me with this i know individuals can just go to google tools if they want but i really want to have it available on the website

    Cheers
    john

    Have a look here

    Half way down the page it shows you how to create links to translate the current page into different languages (after you've given some details)

    Didn't know Google did that!

    Here's a link to babelfish which seems to have a link there if you want to add it to your site.

    Is it really worth doing? Have you seen how bad the translations from Babelfish are?

    Aside, it's amusing that the photo beside the Irish office info is of O'Connell Bridge even though SDL Ireland are in Bray.

    Google Translate (or Google Language Tools).

    I was reading the Wicklow 200km Cycle site and noticed that it uses the first link to translate its pages.

    Why dont' you include a form link this:
    <form action="http://translate.google.com/translate" method="get" enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded">
    <input name="u" type="hidden" value="http://www.google.ie">
    <font size="-1">from</font>
    <select name="langpair">
    <option value="en|de">English to German</option>
    <option value="en|es">English to Spanish</option>
    <option value="en|fr">English to French</option>
    <option value="en|it">English to Italian</option>
    <option value="en|pt">English to Portuguese</option>
    <option value="en|ar">English to Arabic BETA</option>
    <option value="en|ja">English to Japanese BETA</option>
    <option value="en|ko">English to Korean BETA</option>
    <option value="en|zh-CN">English to Chinese&nbsp;(Simplified) BETA</option>
    <option value="de|en" selected="selected">German to English</option>
    <option value="de|fr">German to French</option>
    <option value="es|en">Spanish to English</option>
    <option value="fr|en">French to English</option>
    <option value="fr|de">French to German</option>
    <option value="it|en">Italian to English</option>
    <option value="pt|en">Portuguese to English</option>
    <option value="ar|en">Arabic to English BETA</option>
    <option value="ja|en">Japanese to English BETA</option>
    <option value="ko|en">Korean to English BETA</option>
    <option value="zh-CN|en">Chinese&nbsp;(Simplified) to English BETA</option>
    </select>
    <input name="hl" value="en" type="hidden">
    <input name="ie" value="UTF8" type="hidden">
    <input value="Translate" type="submit">
    </form>

    And replace the first hidden input from google.ie to ur address.
    I dunno if this is exactly what you're looking for
