Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pick Your All Time Greatest World Cup Team

    You can pick the greatest World Cup team of all time over on Sky Sports at the moment through a rather neat Flash application. I have already picked mine, and I think you will find it hard to disagree with me on this one.

    Is it really not just a "best team of all time" thing? Because bar George Best . There isnt really anyone that comes to mind that hasnt played in a world cup but would still get near a best 11 ever team.

    Probably based solely on performances in actual World Cups, not just careers in general.

    I always laugh at all time best lineups. So many great players get left out. How could you pick for instance between Pele, MVB, Di Stefano and Gunnar Nordahl? For those that dont know the last he was (alone with MVB) the greatest Milan striker ever. At Internation level 42 goals in 30 games says it all... (and no i didn't get it the wrong way around)
