How do people feel about these papers? I reckon based on last years relatively easy one, this is going to be somewhat more difficult.

I am soooooooooo screwed for this.
Business is my worst subject, haven't studied at all through the year and I'm not gonna bother starting now. I only barely passed the mocks.

If you passed the mocks you should be grand, as you know more now than you did when taking the mocks, even if its not alot more. Anyway good luck to you man.

Paper one was ok, did all 6 questions with plenty of time. Still a few bits in each question that were tough though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 396 ✭✭Fitzo

did the bare minimum and no bookkeeping questions, all theory...AND I NEVER HAVE TO DO THAT STUPID SUBJECT AGAIN!!!:D :D:D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,739 ✭✭✭Jello

Thought it was quite hard...hadn't a clue what I was doing in some parts.

ah both paper one and paper two were easy peasy. left after one hour on both :D I think I did well on both

In paper two, I got the long question and the trading, P&L to both balance.

I have NEVER done that before! :D God likes me today.

I'm sure he'll make up for it with Science though.... :(

Except our class didn't do most of the expierements but just wrote them down anyway. If the examiner doesn't actually look at our expierement copies, he won't cop. We all have the same dates. If he does.... :o

I didn't do question 1 as 80% of people get it wrong, and I didn't do the P+L things as I'm crap at them ;)

no for an A tomorrow you need to get at least 77% in the paper (if your project and experiment are done)...MY god! i can get that!!!

the paper, in the paper!---if you get 50% in the PAPER you wont get an A

    77% of the paper = 50.05% overall therefore 35% + 50% = 85%!

Lol, by your reasoning you could get 135% in science? ^^

100% in the paper tomorrow = 65% of your overall grade, not 100%...

Yay I got them right!! I did 4 and a half questions for paper 2, the teachers promised to skin me if i came out oo early, so i decided to do the final accounts and halfway through realised I couldn't rememebr the format..
Paper one was a cinch, I was done by 10.50!

I was well chuffed to see Killarney come up again on the Business paper. :)

Paper one was really easy and I'm confident that I did quite good in it but paper two was a bit of a struggle for me and I really messed up the final accounts question. :(

Also, I heard somewhere that you can get marks taken off of you if you do extra questions or something? >_<

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 649 ✭✭✭Jeebus

The short questions on Paper 1 were hard. Long questions piss easy.

But Paper 2 was very hard - very little choice and really punished you if you made any little mistake, eg forgetting to give an example. ;)
