Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You'll probably need to run a 32 bit browser.
    Google for x86_64 flash chroot

I got gplflash running on Ubuntu x86_64, but I didn't compile it myself, it was in the ubuntu package repositories. Check if it's in the fedora ones.

You'll need to enable the universe and multiverse repositories.

    Open /etc/apt/sources.list in an editor,
and look for the word universe
Uncomment those lines, and for good measure, add the word multiverse on at the end of the line right after universe.
    deb http://ie.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ dapper universe multiverse
    deb-src http://ie.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ dapper universe multiverse

Next time you run apt-get update, it'll download the extra software lists,
and they'll be available from apt-get or synaptic/adept.

Hope that includes gplflash, maybe Syth could post his own sources.list file.

I haven't used it and so can't vouch for anything, but Gnash (http://www.gnu.org/software/gnash/) is a GNU flash player, with the usual plugins for browsers, and it supports some of the SWF v7 features, which is a good bit better than GPLflash which, afair, can only support up to v4 or something similar

The slashdot post I mentioned the other day was about the Flock browser, a new member
    of the firefox/mozilla family.
It comes preconfigured with flash 7 support.

It really should be worth a try.
