I think I'm right but before I give dodgy advice to a friend can someone confirm this. A mate wants to get UTV internet. They sell a wireless router for €99. I'm thinking he can just get http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=306148 and connect it straight up to the line with no other equipment - am I right?

That's the router I have myself but I have it into the Zyxel from Esat.

That's the router I have myself but I have it into the Zyxel from Esat.

That's just a router - it's not a "modem", so you can't use it on a DSL line unless you have a DSL "modem" to convert the DSL signal into an ethernet signal.

It's an all-in-one modem/router. He may be aswell go for that one for ease of setup and tech support. They won't support any other modem if he has any problems and the overall price won't be much different.
