Have you even looked at Iran at all? You can't throw military at everything and expect it to resolve the issue.

For starters Irans infrastructure far exceeds many European countries. They have a large number of well renowed scientists, scholars reconised in the international community. It is far from a regime under sanctions under the control of a somewhat lunatic dictator. They are also familar with the CIA interfering with thier country.

There is no military action the US can take against Iran that won't result in more Americans dying. They are already stretched with Iraq+Afganistan. This means that the only actions would be to bomb the crap out of Iran to get to any presense on the ground. They won't be able to put any government in place to replace the current that won't be met with straight out oppositition by the locals, so it would be total urban warfare, and despite the somewhat comical movies of it the women in Iran are also trained with the guys when it comes to the military.

At best they could probably bomb the nuclear structure but even that is going to have serious reprocussions. Especially when there has been absolutly no proof they can even create weapons grade nuclear material in the next 10 years or so.

No. Just to the iron age:p Seriously, tho, if the US does goto war against Iran, lets hope they allow the army to do its job, and not have any civilain bodies intervene.

Saying that, tho, I still think regieme change, using the CIA would be better. New leader, little blood loss.
