    I have a 01 Dragster 125, Black, in daily use. I want to swap this for a bike at least 250cc or bigger. Would consider any make/model.

    :D I really can't see anyone swapping a 250 for a 125 !!!

    aye, you might even be better going to a brakers and getting an engine out of a crashed 250 dragstar and putting it in yours. (bolt for bolt they are the same)

    Yea, see that point alright but I would obviously expect an older 250cc + bike that would be in less condition than my dragster. Also Insurance on the dragster is cheaper, so you never know ...:D


    any idea on the cost of a 250 dragster engine and labour? Rough guess even ....

    would the rest of the bike stand up to it, carb, chasie, breaks etc ..

    well on all the Yamaha lower end crusers (Verago and dragstars) Everything is the same. except for cyclenders. You may have to replace the carbs as well. But it shouldn't be to hard. Exausts are also ok as is.
