Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Im going to water aerobics and the instrucure said that we have to wear clothes in the water,

Ive been told to wear bagyish clothes so I was thinking of this.

The t-shirt worn over the hoody and the tracksuit bottoms.

The idea of wearing the clothes is that you get a better workout because it ccreates resistance in the water.

Makes sense, increased resistence against the water thus making the work out more effective, like adding more weight when lifting a dumbell

you're actually gonna go out and buy new clothes to wear in the pool though? have you not got anything old you can wear, i dont think people will mind, you're only in a swimming pool like

If you're concerned with how you look when excercising under water, what are you like when you are going out at the weekend!

They'll have the desired effect alright. But wear old clothes the chlorine in the water may well have a bleaching effect on the clothes.

How did the water exercise go!!

It must be alot of fun!!

Is it real heavy when you get out of the pool?

Hmmmmm a little dangerous if the class is packed i think... Why dont they just use hand mits for resistance???? Or woggles??? I dunno... On a safety side someone drowning can be quite difficult to pull out with wet clothes..
