I want to setup a VPN into my network.
I have Eircom Netopia 3347WG adsl modem and MS Small bus Server 2003
    on the internal network.

I want to setup the VPN server on the Small bus server and have the Netopia
    forward the VPN through.

Is it possible to do this? Do ports have to be forwarded through the Netopia
to SBS? Is there a better/easier solution to get VPN link for small network?

    Many thanks,

    Rod

I was trying something similar for a client recently, after a brand new DSL install, and the netopia router wanted them to pay a subscription to avail of port forward. Not putting up with that cheek, we bought a proper router :)

The Netopia support page for the 3347WG has information on creating VPNs.

It also documents how to set up port forwarding, as done (for free) by thousands of residential customers with eircom supplied CPE.
