DNS Update

    Ok so i bought a domain and i gave them the details about my web hosting company.
    Now im told that a DNS update needs to be done.
    Does anyone know what i need to do.

    It sounds like you bought the domain from one company and want to host it with a different company

    You should give the company you bought the domain from the nameserver details for the hosting company.

    Ya thats what I did, would ya know how long it takes for
    a DNS update.

    Shouldnt take more than 24 hours - typically it's working within 10 minutes to an hour.

    takes 24 hours for .ie, well has for all my .ie domains.
