I was just reading experience stories on bmezine.com and came across this story: http://www.bmezine.com/pierce/07-navel/A60530/navmy1st.html

If you read it you will see that she was recommended to use Chamomile tea to clean the wound! Has anyone ever heard of this before? I have loads of Chamomile teabags lying around but no healing piercings to experiement with. Just wondering if it would be any good although I'd say I'll stick to the good ol' salt and water. I dunno, it just struck me as a strange one but the writer seemed to really approve.

I've seen it mentioned before have never done it all my piercings heal fine normally so don't need to go messing with them. Best way to heal a piercing is litha imo

I used use it on a surface piercing that I have on my stomach, that hates the crap out of me...the middle of it keeps rising and I'm too stubborn to take it out, anyways I was kinda at a loss, but I didn't find much difference between that and salt/water...and salt/water is less hassle, so i just go with that.

its like using a mild garlic mixture.. it has natural antibodys in it and its full of anti toxins.. altho i wouldnt advise the use of garlic on wounds.. its much better if you have a cold etc..
