Sony 26 inch Bravia - hum/buzz from speakers.

I've tinkered with the balance so that all sound is comming from the left speaker, and then the right speaker.

That made no difference.

The only way to 'mute' the hum is to mute the sound.

I've tried it on multiple sockets in muliple rooms and it's still the same.....

Can anyone offer and advice??

I'd be contacting sony tech support. Firstly though ensure there are no magnetic objects nearby such as hi-fi speakers etc. But I'd get on to Sony. Sounds like a fault. (excuse the pun)
