Newbridge has a Volleyball Club which caters for Beginners upwards. Its a different activity which is very enjoyable and there is a great social side to Volleyball. Its a good club and you'd be made very welcome.

How about Pitch and Putt? :D

We have a decent athletics club and a good track on the Curragh Tech grounds - not sure about training during Summer months thought.

If you drop down to the sports centre - they could probably put you in contact with clubs around the town aswell.

If you're just looking to keep in shape - there are a load of gyms and swimming pools in the area - Gables, Keadeen, StandHouse etc etc

I'll think of some more later.
