How to locate kittens of a stray cat?

    Hey,

There is a stray black cat, a female, who we see roaming our avenue. She's a very shy cat, and only recently let us pet her. Very skinny, but we feed her every time we see her.

The thing is, she is quite obviously feeding kittens, but we don't know where they are. We wouldn't mind adopting her as she's a very nice cat, but we can't just take her or her kittens will die.

Is there any way that we could find her kittens? I know it's a bit of a stupid question, as we can't really follow her or she'll probably run away, and we can't realistically attach a some sort of GPS tracker to her...

Has anyone had an experience like this before and is there anything we can do?
