Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

According to Bohrs theory an electron moves in a fixed path or orbit around the nucleus, which works when dealing with hydrogen cuz it only has 1 electron. This theory failed when applied to atoms with more than 1 electron (ie. ALL others!) - thats the limitation!

It also returns an incorrect value for the ground state angular momentum. The expression L = n(hbar) returns a value of L=hbar, whereas in reality, it is zero.
