    A man who won't die for something is not fit to live

    would someone be able to translate the above line into irish?!?

    "Gan cúis báis, ní fiú a bheith beo."

    It doesn't mention the man specifically, but I think it sounds better.
    Back into english it says "Without a reason to die, there's no point being alive"

    Or maybe "Ní beatha go cúis báis". Same as what Ronny said, just put slightly differently.

    The formula of "Ní X go Y" is very common in Irish sayings.
