    hi i was just wonderin if theres any website that has sound clips that are good for surround sound or 2.1 systems to test subwoofers and satelites, google didn't turn up much for me and i was hoping that someone out there knew about some cool stuff

    the best test / sample is the thx / dolby one.
    think it can be bought cheap enough online.

    if you have proper 5.1 the only way to actually test it in in the hardware,
    with "pink noise"
    this should be a test button on the back of your amp,
    an onscreen menu in an a/v receiver
    or in the utility that came with your soundcard.

    a lot of CD\DVD cleaning disks have a sound test on them. Just be sure to get one that is suitable for high speed drives.
