just got an email off ibb
    Dear Customer,

This email is to notify you of planned network maintenance to improve
core network functionality in your area; it is likely that you will
experience either an intermittent or a full loss of service this
    Thursday morning 22nd June 2006 between 1am - 4am. Although we have
outlined a 3 hour outage window, it is hoped that service will not be
interrupted for more than 60 minutes. Please rest assured that every
effort will be made to keep downtime to a minimum.

If your service does not resume automatically after this maintenance
period then you may need to reset the power on your Irish Broadband
Breeze box which is normally black or cream in colour or your Ripwave
modem. Only attempt this if service does not resume as normal, please
only attempt the power reset after the outage end time i.e. 4am.

We sincerely apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience that
this may cause but assure you that the work being performed is
    absolutely necessary.

    Thank you for your time.

    Irish Broadband.

    Customer Services.

    Lo-call 1890 56 44 56.

Got the same mail. Bray/Greystones mast also.

Since the recent major outage when we were off for nearly a week, the service has been great. I have consistently been getting speeds in excess of 1Mb [on a 2Mb connection]. Before that, I was lucky to get dial-up speeds. It'll be interesting to note if there any changes post-Thursday........

    Does it cover Kilnamanagh?
Does anyone from Kilnamanagh have the service?
    Any use?
