    The 5 current sitting TD's are;

    MJ Nolan (FF)
    John McGuinness (FF)
    Liam Awlyward (FF)- gone as MEP for Leinster

    Phil Hogan (FG)

    Seamas Pattison (Lab)- retiring, was ceann comharle of the Dail.

    The candidates for '07 are as follows;
    MJ Nolan (FF)
    John McGuinness (FF)
    Bobby Awlyward (FF)

    Phil Hogan (FG)
    John-Paul Phelan (FG)
    Fergal Browne (FG)

    Jim Townsend (Lab)
    Michael O'Brien (Lab)

    Mary White (Greens)

    Kathleen Funcheon (Sinn Fein)

    10 candidates-5 seats, how do people se this shaping up??My money is on 2FF, 2FG, and a Labour seat.

    3FF
    2FG (Hogan and Phlean) Fergal Browne should resign himself to being in the Sennad forever. :)

    Please be realistic man would you- 3 FF seats, where on earth do you think they are going to get the votes to maintain this???
    They barely got 3 the last time and that was with a clear swing towards FF-Nolan got in by a few hundred votes and that was mostly down to a dodgy poll in the Nationalist- nothing to do with the man's dismal ability (obviously enough).

    There is a Labour seat here; always has been since the foundation of the state so it's between Townsend and O'Brien for this.
