Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My best friend is coming down to Cork for three days next weekend and as hes from another county i'd like to give him the whole Cork experience. He mentioned wanting to see Castletownbere. Any other suggestions?

If he's into his drink, then Midelton distillery?

I actually didnt think of that and i havent been to East Cork in years. I might give Ballymaloe a go as well just because i'll be down that neck of the woods .

If the weather is good, go down to Baltimore or Schull and out to Cape Clear island, and go on a massive session. A weekend you'll never forget (or should that be remember?:D )

De Barra's Clonakilty is a nice spot for a drink or two.

If you want to build up a thirst first - I went out sea kayaking with these guys recently around Kinsale - http://www.h2oextreme.net/ Highly recommended if you and your friend are active types. If it's just the two of you then maybe you could join in with another group?
