The 'Medical' for nursing students

    Hey,

I'm starting nursing in WIT in Sept as a mature student.

I have a medical condition which I failed to proclaim while filling out my CAO form. I didn't intentionally lie, I knew I was going to defer for a year and truely believed this condition wouldn't be an issue when it came time to start. But it is.

I'm physcially capable of doing the work thats required, more than willing and looking foward to getting back into the routine of study. Basically, this condition will only affect me in areas of concentration and tiredness at times.

However, the fact that its there and I didn't proclaim it is causing me serious concern. I know I could be denied my place because of it.

Can someone tell me what the medical entails?
I expect a full physical (which I'm not worried about)......but what else? Do they request GP medical records?

    Really anything would be great.
    Thanks:confused:
