IE page loading click query?

Just curious, I'm assuming this is to do with the code that is used to generate a page, but sometimes when I create a web page in php and run it, if it is a form for example, it will "click" several times rather than just once when submitted. And if I then try to use the back button I have to click back the same number of times as the page made the click sound while loading...can I get rid of this?
