Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

nokia 6230i battery life

    recently bought a nokia 6230i and have been very disapointed with the battery life which only seems to last 3 days,and thats with very little use.I disabled bluetooth and the screensaver and there has been a slight improvement, but still not great.anyone else with similar problems ??

    That's about right Mr Jinx. I have one myself... 2-3 days depending on usage.

    should be a bit better than that if you only got it recently.

    The battery on mine has only just started draining noticeably quicker than I remember. I got an 1101 and keep it with me as it has the same battery, so I have a spare handset and battery too.

    Modern phones tend to last three days tops... Notable exceptions being the k750i and w800i. batteries just cant afford to be as big as they used to be.

    i have one also and only get about 7 hrs max for it, would be a heavy user tough .. a day with my car kit and the battery dies before work is finished

    It only quotes up to 5hrs talktime so you're doing well if you're talking all day long AND using bluetooth.

    shocking battery life on this phone. Think I'll get a k750i instead..

    K750i has an excellent talk time. Doesnt change the fact that batteries just dont last as long as they did. :)
