Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Argh! Rte will lead with Spain V Saudi Arabia. Group winners vs a brutal side.
    They will only show highlights of the infinitley more intersting Ukraine V Tunisia, two sides who still entertain notions of going through.

    Ditto the evening game. France V Togo?? I'll get the beers in for that one!
    No sign of Swiss V S Korea, two teams who need to win to be sure in the likely event the Frogs beat the Togs.

    Why??

    They all look rubbish matches tbf. :) I agree about the 2nd one though, Swiss v Korea is winner goes through, loser goes home.

    (sorry , had to use that one at least once before they go home :D)

    RTE haven't a clue. I think thats the first time I've ever seen a broadcaster just "discard" a game 2/3rds thru and then switch over to something else. Brady had called it last night and still they didn't get their act together.

    Clearly RTE just see "France" or "Spain" or "Brazil" and that's as far as their thought processes go on the matter.

    Silly on RTE's part, regardless of who's playing, surely it makes sense to show a match that has something riding on it rather than a meaningless match. This was proved tonight with the Aussie match being the best of the tournament so far for drama imo.
