Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So strange event of the week.

I have an early PIII SFF compaq pc running Win2k SP4 that now boots fully except that explorer.exe wont run. So I have the (empty) desktop and a mouse and I can access Task manager and from there can run things but its just too weird. All drivers are running, in fact CPU usage is at 100% in the background. Have tried a windows repair but no avail.

ANy thoughts or has anyone else experienced this?

    try in safe mode too,

in taskmgr you could try to kill explorer and then run it again

what is using the CPU most ?

    could also be spyware
