Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One of my flatmates wants to get some non medical colour contact lenses, anyone know where he'd pick them up or if they even exist

    Thanks

Specsavers do a good range. As far as I know they have prescriptive and non-prescriptive lenses.

I tried the johnson and johnson acuvue colour contacts before and the only word I can use to describe them (all I can think of now anyway) is murky.

It probably takes a while to get used to them, just like regular contacts. (I've been using regular contacts for about 11 months).

The problem is though, your pupil gets bigger or smaller according to light, so the colour might have an effect on that.

I'd say any good opticians have them.

I've used the specsavers ones. I have blue eyes and have tried brown, green and violet...I found the brown ones more strikingly different for me.

I think Argos sell them! They had some funky ass ones last time I checked.. Had pure white, so it'd block out your pupil and stuff..

As with all contact lenses ensure that you clean your hands when putting in and taking out the contacts, clean and change the contact fluid as indicated. They can be really great to make you feel a bit different but just be safe.
