Smart Telecom - Distances from the exchange

Hi All, Just an inquiry into how far away some of you with Smart are from the exchange. I am inquiring into a connection with them but I know for a fact I am a very long way from the exchange. About 6-8km.

ask them straight out, they have a forum here

They have been known to work further out than eircom but 8km would be too far.

They may also provide service on best effort but not guarantee any more than 256k which is what eircom does anyway
