    Just heard my Uncle is the new lord mayor of Dublin

    Vincent Jackson :)

    I'm off to the mansion house for a party.

    yes thats my uncle. I took a few photos. it was great craic... many more parties will be had in there..

    Does he not call himself Vincent Ballyfermot Jackson anymore?

    Good to see 3 in a row for the local area - Conaghan, Byrne (Inchicore isn't far away) & Jackson. :)

    I used to get invites to the Mansion House too. The highlight was welcoming Linda Martin back after she won the Eurovision :D

    No he doesnt call himself Vincent Ballyfermot Jackson anymore because he's not only in Ballyfermot now. He has a bigger area. He has chapelizod/ballyfermot and i think some of inchicore. Maybe palmerstown/clondalkin

    Good for him. We're probably the only nation on earth where the mayor of the capital city is decided by picking names out of a hat.
