Ibb lease problem

I've recently upgraded my system to 1.8MHz Nvidia with XP professional. The problem is everytime i get a lease from IBB using my ripwave, when it expires the IP setting goes to all 0's and so does the gateway and Subnet. I cannot just repair as the connectivity seems to be gone. I have to reboot my PC each time to…

I cannot just repair as the connectivity seems to be gone. I have to reboot my PC each time to guarantee reconnection be it after 10 mins or 2 hours.
I didn't have any issue with this on my old system.

Also just wondering if this is normal for Ripwave. I don't seem to be able to get any connection between 6pm and 12am at all. I suppose the network is probably saturated between these hours but still looking for confirmation

Not normal, maybe all leases are used up?
