Hmm, steep inclines, small runway, but runway nonetheless.
    Doesn't look very populated.
    Spanish?

Yes, the runway is at the extreme edge indicating a difficulty finding a siutable flat area.

I presume it's part of an island group otherwise there would be no need for the runway on the land mass on the left as it is connected by bridge to the other land mass.

Possible (US?) military/marine base or refueling stop or possible sub-marine base.

There also seems to be a lot of shipping but non-merchant/commercial as there does not appear to be bulk cargo/freight/containers etc.Not much evidence of fishing either.

No evidence of agriculture. I'd say the road on the island on the left is only utilised to reach a possible communications mast/antennae possible located on top of the mountain.

Not much evidence of trees either.

Greenery indicates that it is not a hot climate but possibly tropical.

you can also work out the heading of the runway and its length (15/33 and about 3500ft)

the long isthmus??? suggests currents which suggests the sea and not inland.

the number of boats would suggest its reasonably busy but i see no indication of marinas or yachts so military or remote or both

I was hoping someone else would make a guess over the past few days but the lack of responses is probably because it is too vague. It's better to include a landmark of some sort.

ah come on... just because I put a twist on it. There's a handful of places this could be.
