Memory loss need help!!

Hey all
I was at a session at the weekend, did a bit of singing and drinkin and playin the guitar, had a great night. we sang a song and i'm trying to remember what it was. all i know is that it went ya-e-ya-e-ya at the end. Drink is a fecker on the memory!! I asked the guy i was singin with and he cant remember it either! think it might be counting crows song somthing round that era, pretty sure its not radiohead deffo not oasis, could be peral jam!
has anybody and suggestions please help me!!! My head is wrecked!!

Could it have been Nickelback "How you remind me"m ?

It sticks in my mind because of that yeah-eh appearing in
the main verse and chorus line.
The song & band irritates me but.. as they say.. horses for courses !

Kind of tough guessing one song out of 50 billion by "ya-e-ya-e-ya" in the song. Any more flashbacks that might help?

No nothing much, i've had a few but nothing in relation to that song! all i remember is that the yeah-e-yeah-e-yeah part wasn't sung very loud sort of relaxed but constant tempo, low kinda slight husky if you know what i mean,
not sure if thats more of a help or what!!

could you take a rough guess at the notes, so we have an idea of the tune, or is it just kinda spoken

its hardly that corrs song "we are so youn now" or somethin like that... cnat see that bein sung with the oul guitar and a few mates, but the ya-e-ya-e-ya is in it a good few times

No nothing by the corrs thats for sure, don't know the chords it is wipe out on the memory cells. I'm thinkin heavier than corrs stuff more pearl jamish, or dave mathews band without the trumpets

I googled "Lyrics yeah-e-yeah-e-yeah" and came up with a song called Promises by Lillix.
Don't know if this is the one, but I just downloaded it and it isn't bad.
So thanks for helping me find a new band to listen to! Always room to expand my listening pleasure!

thanks for the sugestions but don't think its any of those, not sure bout feeder don't think i know that at all, Im glad L4L your got a new song out of this. We actually did sing Mr. Jones but thats not the one, keep the suggestions coming somthing will trigger something!! i'll chat my friend try and jog his memory, someone at the party must remember it!!!
