    The Round Ireland Swim Expedition starts this Sunday 2 July at 2pm from Carrickfinn Beach, Co Donegal

    Please visit the re-designed website on www.roundirelandswim.ie where you can follow the progress of the swim and also donate to the expedition online .

    Looking forward to the expedition, hopefully we will see some of you along the way!

    Some CFT clubs are helping out on the expedition.

    Wow,

    Was down on the beach for the launch with the Watters support group!!! These guys have their work cut out, it was great to see them all get the first day done safely, my girlfriends brother is Tom Watters, theyve been training so hard for the past what? well it must be almost 2 years. It was a great send off for them, I hope when they are swimming past your area that you get down to watch them.

    Heres a rough schedule from their website about when they will hit certain areas along the coasts...

    Please please please come out and cheer them on, they need everyones support and donate what you can, remember it may be a world record attempt but above all its a charity event to raise much needed money for primarily the RNLI lifeboats which are posted all around this islands coasts.
