    ...you can only have 5 albums to survive on for the rest of your life (and of course your little music system has an everlasting battery, and isn't clogged with sand). What 5 albums would you take?

    I'd go with:

    Prince - Purple Rain
    Michael Jackson - Off the Wall
    Maxwell - Urban Hang Suite (incase there happens to be a lady washed ashore)
    Mos Def - Black On Both Sides
    Creedence Clearwater Revival - Ultimate Collection.

    Its more difficult to decide than i would have thought!
