S-Video - ground pin broken

I just got an S-Video to Scart cable to connect my laptop to my TV and I've just noticed that one of the ground pins is missing/broken off. Its the Colour (C) Ground and I'm wondering if this will make any difference when using the cable - i.e. will it blow up my TV or laptop if I use the cable with the pin missing?
