Mackeral in the Northwest?

Hi Folks does anybody know where in the nwest you can get some good mackeral fishing in. Have the Mackeral came in yet in this region. I would like to try some shore mackeral fishing in. Any advice is greatly appreciated thanks.

Donegal Bay is full of them, Mullaghmore, Bundoran, Killybegs, everywhere.
