Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone else notice how much he says "of course"? (Although I haven't listened in a long time, maybe he doesn't do that anymore...)
Also, whenever he plays a song by someone with any kind of credibility, it is always the most obvious one possible...

"Okaayy, that was, ah, The Who there of course, with ahh My Generation, great tune, great tune..."

Strange how such an old thread has reappeared. Tony is the man I love to hate, I was almost disappointed this week when Fillin Cawley was on instead. Always makes me laugh when I hear the opening bars of "Brown Eyed Girl" every single day. Closely followed by: Reverend Al Green, Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Marvin Gaye, and Hard-Fi. "Cracking tune there, heeeeyyyyy..."

I'm working on a Tony drinking game at the moment. Drink whenever tony says:
    1. "Cracking tune" or "Absolute classic"
    2. classic bit of soul
    3. Heeeeyyyy......
    4. What's on the box tonight?
    5. If you're ever in (name of pub in caller's hometown) tell 'em Fenton says hello

DOWN A SHOT WHEN HE PLAYS BROWN EYED GIRL

    6. A double vodka when he plays the New Radicals' 'You Get What You Give'. You wouldn't last long

Down a shot of Advocaat (seems appropriate) whenever he mentions a " hit recird"

Or a shot whenever he asks Pamela the producer what her favourite tuuuune of 07 was. Another shot as Pamela answers by extolling the virtues of Tom fcuking Baxter for the 20th time

Tony Finton is a god in our house, we actually have a poster of him in on the inside of our shed door, beaming down at us with a toothy grin, hes great. I love the way he can just jump from topic to topic, and give florid accounts of each along the way. My brother met him in 98 and said he was "mad",not really mad but great crack like
