Now I am not talking about your first paid website, I am literally talking about your first ever attempt at a website.

Does it still exist, if so post a link and we can all laugh at the goodness

As a precursor I will go first :)

    Heh, good idea :)

This one is the earliest I could find on the archive. From 1998 aparently. Jayzuz, I was about 15 at the time :D

Think I had a star trek site on IOL before that, can't find it though.

Nih, could never find mine... it was some big mad url at geocities... which I think they've revamped since then.
It was back when they used that crappy /silicon-valley/high-street/24057/jimbob/ scheme... and I'm absolutely forked if I can remember what my one was

First one I remember doing was in the uni as my personal homepage when I first started messing on the unix machines there ... lots of animated gifs lots of different colors ... and LOTS of javascript rollovers :) was just a link page to the various search engines but had a lot of fun doing it ... probably have it backed up somewhere must have a root ... its kinda scary though looking at things you did 10 years ago ...

    MS Publisher ftw :)

And while not strictly my first webpage, it is the first one that I could find that still roams the interweb. My first one back in '97 was a simple HTML page laden with "kool gfx" trying to sell my broken toys and old keyboards.

    Oh those were the days...

here is mine I created it on the Sega Dreamcast when it went online in Ireland, I used expage as the DC couldnt upload files and the likes so I had to do with this.
I learnt a lot from it tho.

You will notice that impact font is used in the site and that is beacause the DC didnt have the impact font and just replace it with New Times Roman when you viewed the page through it so I never new.
