    Whats exactly do the stars on your profile mean?
    I'm guessing that they are to do with the number of posts you have made or may the frequency of posts. There's too many people here for them to be based on the quality of your post's, take my "Bump" thread of instance.

    How is one awarded more stars?
    Can just see my CV now "5 gold stars on Boards.ie"

    Whats the "cut off" point for stars?

    Are you a subscriber? You can get 4 if you're a subscriber and set it up as your usergroup in the control panel.

    Go to User CP and then Group Memberships and then click the radio button beside Subscribers thats says "Identify me as a member of this group" and then Update Display Group.
