I'm not sure you would be allowed to be a moderator here. You kind of just broke the first rule which is don't ask to be a mod. The admins may ask for a users help when they have knowledge on a certain subject on boards and if they have a good reputation.There's no guaranteed way of becoming a mod though and in fairness you are just after arriving here.

If you really wish to become a moderator you need to post up your reasoning behind wanting to be a moderator.

You must post at least 1000 words detailing the exact forum you wish to moderate and the reasons why you want to moderate - including why your moderating will be better than other people.

If you wish to be an admin you must write at least 3000 words on this matter.
