At least where I am, the moon looks great tonight. It is due to be full on Tuesday night. Being so low, it is very easy to see how fast the Earth is rotating as you compare its position against items. It is great seeing how much we rotate in just a few moments.

I was up until 3am this morning looking at a beautiful moon through my telescope, until some clouds began to make it more difficult. Very enjoyable though, spotting all those little details. It is full tonight, so if it is clear where you are, have a look.

It's been especially beautiful these past few nights. I even tried looking at it through binoculars and got a reasonably good view. The moon usually cuts across my bedroom window so I can easily watch it move by.
