Could someone translate a german sentence for me

    i'm doing some business with a german guy on ebay. i can piece together most of the email from from leaving cert german and with the help of bablefish but this sentence in particular doesnt make much sense in bablefish

    Ich werde die Bezahlung in Höhe von EUR XXX per Andere in Kürze vornehmen.

    Ich werde - I will
    die Bezahlung - the payment
    andere - other
    Kurze - short ??
    vornehmen - nehmen is the verb 'to take' - vor is 'before' ??

    Yeah - I need to brush up on my Deutschkenntnisse anyway.

    i think he must have replied to the wrong email because all other correspondences i've had with him were in english and the rest of the email doesnt make much sense when you take into account what i asked him.

    This is part of Ebay's automated payment process. The buyer is doing this on Ebay.de, which is why it generates German-language correspondence. "Other means" in this case means that he didn't choose Paypal or any other specific payment mechanism.

    did it really say "per Andere"?sounds a bit weird. "andere Zahlungsweise" or what was meant?
