After a break of some 20+ years I'm getting back into the ol' sea fishing again & got myself a beachcaster. Was wondering if anyone could recommend beach spots along the coast between Rogerstown (Rush) & Balbriggan for mackerel/pollock/flatfish?

Any experiences of Barnageeragh beach (on coast road between Skerries & Balbriggan) would be great.

I've had a look on a few sites for tips, but would like personal opinions if anyone would care to offer them.

PS - For what it's worth Rogerstown on the turn of a high tide last night yeilded nothing by a few crabs & a helluva lot of seaweed.

best way of finding good venues in dublin is to try try and try again never let yourself stay in one place unless you are catching or are waiting for the tide to turn

Half-cocked

I spotted an angler in chest waders fishing on the south side of the mouth of Baldoyle Bay, below the golf course. I've recently moved into the area and with the boat out of the water for the winter I'd like to get back into beach fishing. I assume there are flatties there. Anyone fished this spot who could advise on rigs, tides etc? Thanks.
