The Star Department are a new 4-piece band from Dublin. Together less than a year the band have already hooked up with legendary American producer Kramer (Low, Daniel Johnston, Will Oldham, Galaxie 500, Lou Reed) to master their debut EP. Kramer, who happened upon the band online, was quite taken aback by the music and plans to produce the band in the future.

"This Sereena Maneesh-via-Ride style shoegazing is magisterial...powerful and haunting...8/10" Channel 4

"a unique blend of sublime indie-pop and shimmering post-rock...a sonic cavalcade of densely packed melodies and flickering pieces of jangle....its the euphoric way the ideas are thrown together that suggest this could be the start of something special" MP3hugger.com

Envelope are a 3-piece from Dublin. Their debut EP State & Nature, released in May '06, is the culmination of a frantic first year from one of Ireland's most intriguing new bands.

"a feast of pleasures, State & Nature shifts from seductively visceral to deep and responsive meloncholia...an absolute gem of a debut" Hotpress

Chuzzle Shookman has recently finished working with top producer Marc Carolan (Muse, The Cure). With his theatrical stage presence, incredible voice and the remarkable rock ensemble he brings onstage for every show Chuzzle Shookman is a must-see live experience.

This is 2nite, Doors at 8pm. Chuzzle Shookman can't play unfortunately.
Also, stick around for Sibrydion (Wales) and The Coldspoon Conspiracy who are playing after us.
