Weird: IBB van outside my house

    there was an IBB van parked outside my house for about 15minutes earlier, the guy was messing with his laptop in the van. i'm the only house in the estate with IBB. i got a bit paranoid and unplugged the antenna, he drove off about 30 seconds later. anyone know what thats about?

    Mabye he was trying to hack into you to get some for himself :eek:

    Have you been downloading well over 100GB a month or something and your area was being scanned to determine the bandwidth hog?

    Mabye he was just filling out some preorder work for someone else to get it in the area?

    Wouldn't surprise me. I was in Galway last weekend and in the space of 2 minutes found 2 unsecured networks that gave me internet access. It was great. I was only browsing some property websites while in the area I could have done much worse

    jackiechan, i dont have a wireless network.

    i'm with ibb 17 months, i would rarely have a total monthly upload/download of more than 55gigs and i try to do the bulk of my downloading at night, not because i give a toss about other customers its because this is the only time the speed resembles something like its supposed to.
