Thank God ! If it got to 40 degrees here I'd melt. I was driving back from lunch today and it was 22 degrees, I thought I was going to get heat stroke*

    *may be slight exaggeration

Haha, wuss, it was 41 degrees on sunday and I still managed 90 minutes of tennis and a soccer match (playing both). I then went drinking on a patio after... by 2am it had dropped to about 22 degrees.

I was quite badly dehydrated the next day mind you

Eh no, I tend to forget all the clearing, cleaning and sanding needed before hand and all the cleaning needed afterwards.

Aww, sounds bleak in the ads alright. But I got to watch the simpsons movie today, which is pretty much the anti-bleak :). Although come to think of it, some parts of it are a bit too serious for the simpsons. But then again spider-pig more than makes up for it :)

Have a great time in NY Stoner, there's meant to be some very good ghost tours over there, we'll be expecting plenty of detailed reports :)

Welcome back Aisling, hope you enjoyed the holiday, and at the risk of being called a wuss again, 45 degrees  I need to get a cold drink after just thinking about that.

Not sure about making the boards beers, I think I've something else on that night, but would be nice to drop by for a while and see who's around.

OK that beats me, was in Turkey and it was 40 degrees. Thank God for ice cold beer.

I have no idea why, but 40-45 degrees of heat over there is MUCH more comfortable than 25 over here! Must be the humidity or the having to work over here! lol

    How is everyone ?

Hope those who made it to the boards beers tonight have plenty of gossip when they get back. Unfortunatly I have to do some work this weekend, so between that and having a bit too much fun last night I couldn't make it tonight.

So has everyone had their holidays yet or has anyone got any exciting trips planned ? I'm hoping to make a trip over to Orlando towards the end of next month (after the temperatures drop a bit :) ). I haven't arranged dates or anything yet but I'm hoping I can do it towards the end of the month so I can get to see a shuttle launch, which I'd really love to see. It wouldn't be as cool as actually being on a shuttle launch but I haven't been able to figure out yet any reason why NASA would need a computer programmer with an interest in the paranormal as a "mission specialist" (but if anyone has any ideas I promise I'll bring back some really cool souveniers for them :) )

Hi all!! Just wanted to poke my head in the door and say I've been very busy lately with an assortment of things that life decided to throw my way! As I've a bit more time these days I thought I'd try and get back into things here!

So how is everyone? Anything wild or exciting happen while I was away?
