Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    07 July 2006
    Bohemians 1 - 2 Derry City (R)
    Drogheda United 2 - 1 St Patrick's Athletic (R)
    Sligo Rovers 2 - 0 Dublin City (R)

Longford Town - Cork City 7:30
    09 July 2006
    Bray Wanderers - UCD 3:15

Drogs scored 2 early goals in a strong 1st half for them, 2nd half we tore them apart and forced their professional keeper to timewaste with 35 minutes left. How they are top is beyond me twice we have played them twice lost when totally dominating them.

We went 3 at the back with Keegan /Armstrong up front Rutherford and Molloy wide and Quigley playing behind the strikers and dominated only a few superb saves from their professional keeper kept them in it.

Sadly it was our best performance of the season in the 2nd half but we couldnt break down their flat back 8.

On a positive Armstrong played last night and looked big strong and fit.

But timewasting at home when a win puts you top  Should you not attack and wrap up the game?

ha ha that sums up drogs alright.. we play longford tonight, a win is imperative IMO, but whereas drogs go for a flat back 8, Matthews prefers his side to line out with a highly adventurous 10-0-0 formation..

we're missing georgie who's having a tantrum (I've heard he's gone to oxegen for the weekend), and John o'flynn is out with a whatever muscle he's pulled this week injury.

0-0 tonight. No shots on goal from either side.

Bohs went down to the better team, in fairness. Kelly is and always will be an idiot, but that doesn't change the fact that Bohs created nothing in 90 mins against a severely weaked Derry team.

If you lose next week, is it Farrellys last game?

If we play like we did in 2nd half last night, wont be a happy night for Bohs.

Kelly is a ****ing disgrace of a ref who would have lost his job long ago if it wasn't for his father - who was even worse.

No, they didn't. Bohs controlled any part of the game that didn't have A. Kelly's idiotic stamp on it. I frankly went to Dalymount expecting a hiding and I was astonished at how poor Derry were. Sheer muck.
The Bohs team has been severely weakened for about two years now. Derry's woes are neither here nor there.

A very professional performance by City tonight by all accounts, in front of a very poor crowd of about 600. Longford, for the dquad of players they have, are seriously under achieving. The sooner they get rid of Matthews the better. That way they might start getting better results which will lead to decent crowds again.

600 is a good crowd unfortunatly at the moment :( Mooney is a huge loss up front the guy keeps getting injured though, out for 14 weeks now with a hamstring. I cant see matthews being pushed as tbh I dont think there is the cash to ay off the rest of his contract. Maybe bohs really do want him :D
