it may sound good to you or the regular joe soap but to people into audio a bit more you can really hear that this isn't that great quality.

Piss-poor quality more like... 56K ().. don't know how anyone could commend that as great quality.

Just caught the last few songs. Sounds alright but nothing too phenomenal but then again, the atmosphere is everything with the Chili's!

Saw them live 3 times on the Californication / By The Way so will try and catch them next time on this tour on principle.

Anyone think of capturing this from the start? Wouldn't mind a copy of it for the iPod tomorrow.

    still recording now...

not the best though, there where blank spots due to the player having to buffer.. ill try nd edit them out in Audocity or somthing
    Good work.. #Elites.

Arggghhh.. 3MB BB here and haven't witnessed any buffering so far. If 2FM or anyone had promoted this beforehand.. i'd have been on capturing like red on rice.. sounds like it's ending now!

Please remember that recording a streaming gig and passing it on is bootlegging which is against the charter.

    anyone except me obviously :(

Not too often RTE beats the BBC Radio 1's streaming quality (under 50k)

oh John2!! So are we not alowed to pass on live gigs and things by posting links?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 44,295 ✭✭✭✭Basq

As a music fan and reading plenty of interviews with bands.. most artists actually encourage the recording of live shows... but rules are rules!

Most do but those that don't ruin it for all of us. Links to anything officially sanctioned is fine (anything from sites belonging to broadcasters, bands, labels, promoters and magazines/newspapers for example as all of these would have to get permission to make available the material).
