Netgear Router not connecting

    Hi peeps,

    The DSL connection seems to have suddenly "disappeared". Phone line is working fine, provider has lodged a complaint with Eircom, I seem to be the only one having trouble though.

    The router does not have any connection at all and keeps saying LCP down.

    Does this seem like an exchange issue? ISP has said the account is fine, although other users are fine on the same exchange..

    I presume any physical damage to the line would also affect the telephone, and not just the DSL service? (Telephone is working fine and there is no noise)

    It does say that LCP is allowed to come up now, but still no connection..

    Have you tried resetting to factory defaults and putting back in the username and password?
